Breaking News: The First Public Voyage Out of This World!

The dream of interplanetary living became a reality thanks to Wonderworks, a pioneering aerospace and technology company. If you've ever imagined what life is like beyond the sky and clouds, you, yourself, have a chance to board this once in a lifetime opportunity.
After decades of research and development, Wonderworks unveiled the "Starship," the first commercial spaceship capable of transporting civilians to a fully terraformed planet named Auvoria Prime, located in the Proxima Centauri system. This monumental achievement changed the course of human history and opened the door to a new era of exploration and habitation beyond Earth. The previous "Starhopper", a spacecraft founded by a group of brilliant scientists and engineers, was recently put into retirement after gathering enough information about Auvoria Prime.
The Starship is no ordinary spacecraft. It is a massive, self-sustaining vessel equipped to carry up to 15,000 passengers in comfort and safety. Designed with advanced propulsion systems, it could complete the journey to Auvoria Prime in just ten years, a remarkable feat considering the vast distances involved. The ship featured residential pods, recreational facilities, and cutting-edge medical centers, ensuring that passengers could live comfortably during their voyage. The Starship is the first spacecraft to be able to sustain itself off of both solar and nuclear energy.
Wonderworks partnered with leading scientists and engineers to create a system that replicated Earth-like conditions onboard, including artificial gravity, hydroponic farms for fresh produce, and air recycling systems. The ship also included extensive entertainment options, from virtual reality simulators to zero-gravity sports arenas, to keep passengers engaged during the long journey. To further ensure safety, the Starship was equipped with advanced AI systems capable of managing navigation, responding to emergencies, and maintaining harmony among passengers. The most prized AI model is Paragon, a personal robot assistant that can serve as a companion, or attend to any needs. Paragon was created shortly after the Starhopper, in beta for model testing, previously meant to be a therapy assistant and home companion. Paragon, the most ethically controversial creation of Wonderworks, is still in service. Last year, it has won Time Person of The Year, which sparked a conversation about the definition of the word "person."

Alexander Royce: The End of All Woe
We were able to get in contact with the CEO of Wonderworks, who has been silent for the past few years in the development of the Starship. The Postboy met up with Alexander Royce, known more commonly as Big Ant, to hold an interview about the most recent news. The Postboy is the first news outlet to get in contact with Royce after his long period of silence. Here's a small peek of the interview, coming out next week, courtesy of Andrea Garcia.
Garcia: "Mr. Royce, many consider the Starship and Auvoria Prime as humanity’s greatest achievements. What does this milestone mean to you personally?"
Royce: "Well, let’s be clear—this milestone isn’t just humanity’s achievement; it’s Wonderworks’ achievement. And as the visionary behind Wonderworks, I’ll say it’s a testament to the power of bold leadership. Personally, it’s immensely satisfying to see my years of hard work, investment, and, frankly, genius, culminate in something so transformative. When you own the vision, you own the results. Being able to get to an entire planet, and making it habitable, is something only the ancient philosophers and those empires could have dreamed of."
Garcia: "What role did your team of scientists and engineers play in making this dream a reality?"
Royce: "Oh, they played their part, of course. I’ve always believed in hiring the best talent. Real hard workers, I'll tell you that. You know, I've talked to the person who worked at the company the longest, ever since I had a few grey hairs. [laughter] I asked, 'you know, the world's a big place. how come you're here?' He said, 'well, boss, I'll always run where my heart is.'"
Garcia: "Looking forward, what’s next for Wonderworks?"
Royce: "Next? This is just the tip of the iceberg. Auvoria Prime is proof of concept. The galaxy is vast, and Wonderworks intends to dominate space in our own hands. We’re already scouting other planets, and let’s just say… you haven’t seen anything yet. My vision is to make humanity a multi-planetary species, with Wonderworks leading the charge every step of the way."
Garcia: "Now, I know this might be a shaky question... but about your silence, some have been worry and speculating what's been happening behind the scenes. What's with that?"
Royce: "Bahhh, you know, long vacation. [pause] Hah, as if I could rest that long. It's actually because we've been making some other things than the Starship, and Paragon, and, you know. Requires a bunch of my attention and working closely with my team to make this whole thing happen. We have other big things coming, and it's with making this planet with no hunger, no world wars, the end of all woe."

Here's the full transcript from a speech given by Wonderworks CEO, Alexander Royce. "Ladies and gentlemen, today we stand on the beginnings of a new age. An age not defined by the limits of Earth, but by the boundless horizons of the stars. Wonderworks has accomplished what no other entity dared to dream. Yes, the Starship and Auvoria Prime are here because of one thing: vision. My vision. When I first conceived of this project—and yes, it was my idea from the very start—many said it was impossible. They said humanity wasn’t ready, that the technology was decades away. But I knew better. I knew that with the right leadership, the right drive, and—let's not forget—the right investments, anything is achievable. Some might argue that the scientists and engineers played a significant role, and, of course, I commend their hard work. But without my leadership, my ability to see what others could not, there would be no Starship, no Auvoria Prime. Wonderworks is not just a company; it’s a movement, a force for progress that I have shaped with my own hands. And let me remind you, this is just the beginning. Auvoria Prime is a testament to what Wonderworks can achieve under my guidance. But there are more planets out there, more opportunities to build, to expand, to claim. I invite you all to be part of this journey. Together, we are not just exploring the stars; we are owning the future."
Tickets to board the Starship are currently priced at $1b. However, you can also get in through joining the global lottery, or certain remarkable individuals will be contacted to be the very first group to board this voyage.
